BLUNT APPEARS ON SESAME STREET

Singer JAMES BLUNT has become the latest celebrity to appear on classic U.S. kids' show SESAME STREET. The British hitmaker, 33, showed his cheeky side by transforming his hit single You're Beautiful into an ode to the triangle. Blunt, who recorded the show in New York last year (06) as part of its 38th season, admits the chance to meet the famous cuddly puppets was too good to miss. He says, "It's a huge honor. It's an age-old program and one of the best kinds of things possibly on television at the moment because it's all about education. I met Elmo and Telly and I did a duet about the triangle. You learn something new every day. It was very funny."
