ORLANDO BLOOM and Aussie supermodel MIRANDA KERR are to wed after celebrating their engagement in Italy in late November (08), according to new reports.
Bloom asked the catwalk beauty to be his wife shortly before the couple jetted off for a romantic break in Venice last week (ends28Nov08).
The Sydney Sunday Telegraph reports the wedding is being planned for next year (09).
In a recent interview, Victoria's Secret lingerie model Kerr talked about her plans to leave the fashion world and start a family, but she dismissed rumours she and Bloom were to wed.
She said, "I've always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen... My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch."
The couple went public with their romance earlier this year (08).
Heart-throb Bloom's past loves have included Kate Bosworth and Kirsten Dunst.
