BLONSKY PRAISES LAKE FOR HAIRSPRAY ROLE

HAIRSPRAY star NIKKI BLONSKY has lavished praise on RICKI LAKE - and has struck up a close friendship with the star. Both women have played dancing teenager Tracy Turnblad in the cult musical, and newcomer Blonksy admits she drew inspiration from her predecessor's performance. She says, "I took more inspiration as how Ricky handled everything and her career and success. "She's an incredible person and I really looked to her for inspiration. I still speak to her all the time."
