Blink-182 star Mark Hoppus is delighted the band have got back together because he loves drummer Travis Barker so much.

Mark Hoppus is in love with his bandmate.

The Blink-182 star says he is overjoyed that the group have reunited as he gets to spend more time with drummer Travis Barker - but says he has to "hold back� on his feelings.

He told Fox News: "I've had to learn that when Travis says 'I love you' it doesn't necessarily mean I love you love you, it just means I love you as my friend and not more than that. I just have to now hold back my feelings for him. This is the one good thing that's happened to me in a really long time and I just want to make sure it stays."

However, after realising his bandmate was embarrassed by his remarks, the 'All The Small Things' star swiftly backtracked on his decleration of love.

He added: "Can he reference me and my love? On tour we spend as much time with one another as we do with our wives, we're like brothers. I feel like I've dug myself into an enormous hole with my joke about Travis and I'm trying desperately to redeem myself. I'm just going to stop talking for the benefit of all mankind, thank you."
