Australian actress CATE BLANCHETT is hoping to expand her family - but has decided to leave another pregnancy up to chance.
The Oscar winner already has three children with her husband, playwright Andrew Upton - Dashiell, seven, Roman, five, and 13-month-old Ignatius.
The Elizabeth star admits none of her babies were planned, and she hopes she will fall pregnant again - because she is happy to become a mother of four.
She says, "I'd love to have more children. Just when, I don't know. But the thing is, we hadn't planned any of the others. They just popped out. So you shouldn't overplan these things. If it happens, it would be great."
