BLACK SUES MANAGER
Country rocker CLINT BLACK is suing his manager and accountant, alleging CHARLES SUSSMAN mishandled his finances.
The Grammy winner's lawsuit claims Sussman "repeatedly engaged in self-dealing, negligence, and/or gross negligence" with his millions.
Black accuses his former business partner of persuading him to pump more than $500,000 (GBP333,000) into Equity Records, the small label the pair hold shares in.
He claims he was tricked into backing the label, and led to believe it had rising country stars Little Big Town signed to a longterm contract - when in fact the group had only a two-album deal and quit soon after.
Black also accuses Sussman of taking a salary from Equity without his knowledge, reports the Nashville Post newspaper.
The star is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
