BLACK EYES PEAS EXTEND U.S. CHART RECORD, JOIN GANG OF FOUR

BLACK EYED PEAS have extended their record-breaking stint at the top of the U.S. pop charts to 22 weeks.
The band's I Gotta Feeling has been number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks after replacing the Peas' Boom Boom Pow, which spent 12 weeks at the top.
The group are now one of only four acts to spend at least 10 weeks at number one with consecutive hits - the other three are Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men and Santana.
At number two on the new U.S. countdown is Jay Sean's Down, which switches places with Party In The U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus. Kings of Leon's Use Somebody and You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift round out the top five.
Rockers Pearl Jam claim the week's highest debut - The Fixer enters the chart at 56.
