BLACK EYED PEAS STAR'S HALF-BROTHER SHOT DEAD

BLACK EYED PEAS star APL.DE.AP's half brother has been shot dead in the Philippines. Joven Deala, 21, was gunned down inside his sports utility vehicle in front of his girlfriend's apartment in Angeles City in the early hours of Tuesday (03Feb09) morning.
He sustained a single bullet wound to the left side of his head.
Chief Inspector Wilfredo Paulo tells the Associated Press that Deala and his girlfriend were eating inside the vehicle when two suspects fired at Deala, who was in the driver's seat.
The gunman and his accomplice escaped on foot and Deala died on the way to the hospital.
Paulo adds that the attack was apparently without provocation and investigators are looking for a possible motive.
