BLACK EYED PEAS MEMBER FERGIE WEDS ACTOR DUHAMEL

Singer Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel have departed for their honeymoon after marrying this weekend, it has been confirmed.

The Black Eyed Peas vocalist and Transformers star were wed at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu on Saturday and are thought to have headed to the Bahamas.

Fergie, real name Stacey Ferguson, met Duhamel when appearing as a guest star on his TV drama Las Vegas in 2004.

Wearing a colourful Dolce and Gabbana dress, Fergie and her new husband were joined by friends, family and a number of celebrities at the Californian ceremony, according to People magazine.

Among the witnesses were Fergie's bandmate Will.i.am and Kate Hudson - her co-star in upcoming film Nine - as well as musicians Kid Rock and Slash.

Duhamel's Las Vegas co-stars James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcill also attended the ceremony, as did the 36-year-old's family from North Dakota.
