British actor PAUL BETTANY suprised onlookers by sporting a pair of boxing gloves on a night out with his wife JENNIFER CONNELLY. The Wimbledon star was out for a romantic dinner in New York with the 37-year-old actress when he decided upon the unusual accessory. Bettany held Connelly in a tight embrace in front of the paparazzi, but it was unclear why he was wearing the bright red gloves.
