BESTIVAL SELLS OUT

Bestival has sold out four months before the event begins in one of the quickest tickets sell outs in the festival's history.

Rob da Bank has announced a fairly open fancy dress theme for this year's festival, with revellers able to dress as kings, queens, pirates, wenches and wizards.

The superstar DJ came up with the idea while lying on a beach in Thailand, with festival goers able to decide for themselves what they want to wear.

This year's Bestival boasts an impressive line-up with sets from Primal Scream, the Chemical Brothers, Beastie Boys, Electrelane, the Gossip and the Go! Team.

Coldcut, DJ Yoda and Roisin Murphy were also added to the ever-expanding bill.

Upon announcing the sell-out, Bestival representatives thanked everyone who bought a ticket and promised the event had not got much bigger in size "to keep the vive special and intimate".

Bestival will get underway at Robin Hill Countyside Adventure Park near Newport on the Isle of Wight.

The event begins on Friday September 7th and runs through to Sunday September 9th.
