BERNAL SCARED OF MEXICO'S CRIME

Mexican actor GAEL GARCIA BERNAL is a regular victim of crime in his native land - but confesses he is too scared to fight back.
The Motorcycle Diaries star has been targeted by muggers on numerous occasions.
But Bernal admits he is too scared to ever confront the assailants.
He says, "It's just sensible. What are you doing to do? Fight back and get knifed?
"It's probably something that many men do not admit. I don't mind saying that it's happened so many times and I always feel scared."
But despite offers to move to Hollywood, Bernal will never leave Mexico.
He says, "My problem isn't more important than anyone else's, just because I'm an actor. And I'm also not afraid to say that it is more of a problem in Latin America."
