BERNAL 'OPTIMISTIC' ABOUT FINANCIAL CRISIS

New dad GAEL GARCIA BERNAL is convinced the global economic crisis will be good for the world - because it will drive people back to enjoying quality time, reading and having fun.
The Mexican actor hopes to make the most of the recession by saving cash and taking on free joys, like reading and writing - and he urges everyone to follow his lead.
Bernal says, "To have less money is going to lead us to enjoy other things that are there. That means playing a lot, having fun, writing, reading - things that don't cost money.
"Experimenting with things, like going with your family somewhere (sic), even to a park. It's little things. We're all going to live it. It's important to rise up and be there for that challenge and enjoy it, not be scared about it... I am optimistic."
