BENING JOINS OSCARS BOARD
Actress ANNETTE BENING has been elected to the board that gives out Hollywood's highest film honour, the Academy Award.
The three-time Oscar nominee will join the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a 43-member group that mandates the regulations for the annual ceremony.
The American Beauty star is married to actor Warren Beatty, who was honoured with a lifetime achievement accolade at the annual American Film Institute awards last month (12Jun08).
