BELLUCCI'S PARIS HOME BURGLED

MONICA BELLUCCI's apartment was targeted by thieves while she attended the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (24May09).
The Italian actress, who is married to French actor Vincent Cassel, had jewellery, her passport, laptop computers and other items worth around $112,000 (£74,667) snatched from her Paris property while she was in the French Riviera.
Bellucci was at the event to promote her forthcoming movie Don't Turn Around, in which she co-stars with former Bond girl Sophie Marceau.
A police spokesperson has confirmed that an unknown number of burglars entered the building, in the eastern part of the French capital, from a terrace.
