Italian actress MONICA BELLUCCI is mourning the loss of her police officer cousin, who was killed while on duty.
Valerio Gildoni, a lieutenant in the Carabinieri, was killed on 17 July (09) following an incident with an 84-year-old suspect.
The actress joined her grieving relatives for the funeral in Umbria last Wednesday (29Jul09) and fought back tears throughout the service at the Church of San Domenico as she bid farewell to the 40 year old.
