BELLUCCI DISMISSES FEISTY ITALIAN RUMOURS
Movie beauty MONICA BELLUCCI is constantly offered strong, feisty female roles, because directors assume she has a stereotypical Italian personality.
The Passion Of The Christ actress, 42, admits she is much more reserved in real life, but filmmakers expect her to be a confident, loud Italian.
She says, "I'm lucky if some directions still think of Italian women as being strong, sensuous and dangerous.
"You should ask the directors why they think of me for these roles. Maybe they are looking for a strong woman and think I am much stronger than I am. In real life, I'm much more weak and insecure."
