BELLAMY DISCUSSES PIRACY WITH ALLEN

MUSE star MATT BELLAMY has asked to meet LILY ALLEN to discuss internet piracy after she urged musicians to fight illegal downloads.
The Smile hitmaker has called on fellow artists to help her launch an industry-wide plan of action to stamp out illicit file-sharing before it destroys music.
The rocker responded by emailing the pop star to discuss his proposed solution for the problem, and Allen has posted his message on her official blog.
Bellamy writes, "My current opinion is that file sharing is now the norm," before adding that internet service providers (ISPs) should be taxed by copyright owners.
He explains, "The end result will be a taxed, monitored ISP based on usage which will ensure both the freedom of the consumer and the rights of the artists."
The frontman concluded his note by suggesting he and Allen meet with the U.K.'s Business Secretary Lord Mandelson to exchange ideas: "We should set up a meeting with Lord Mandelson as he is on this issue at the moment. I'm sure he would meet us for breakfast!"
