BEDINGFIELD'S WATERLOGGED PROPOSAL

Pop star NATASHA BEDINGFIELD got drenched during her husband's proposal - because her partner decided to pop the question on a boat during a thunderstorm.
The 27-year-old singer married realtor Matthew Robinson last weekend (21Mar09) in Malibu, California.
And Bedingfield admits the sunshine ceremony was a world away from the moment of their engagement - which happened in a boat on a lake in New York's Central Park in September (08).
The romantic mood was dampened by heavy rain - but the soaking didn't stop Robinson from asking for her hand in marriage.
Bedingfield tells Britain's Hello magazine, "We went out on the lake in a boat and the sky got darker and darker. He said such beautiful things. It was just like in a movie. My dress was completely drenched. And he had that beautiful ring that he picked out himself. We were yelling, 'I love you' at each other in the rain."
