British pop star NATASHA BEDINGFIELD blames Los Angeles' poor public transport system for celebrities' drink driving woes. The singer spoke out on Tuesday (24Jul07) just hours after Lindsay Lohan was arrested for drink driving and drug possession after a car chase in Santa Monica - and two months after the actress was involved in a drunken car crash in L.A. And while Bedingfield insists she'll never fall victim to the trend, she urges people to try and understand why it happens before slamming young stars. She says, "I will never get a DUI because I can't drive. "But you have got to understand - L.A. has no public transport system so you have to rely on cars to get you to your destination.
