BEDINGFIELD MARRIES IN MALIBU

British singer Natasha Bedingfield has married fiance Matthew Robinson in Malibu, California, reports from the United States are suggesting.

The top-selling songstress has had success on both sides of the Atlantic with singles such as Unwritten, These Words - which reached number one in the UK - and I Wanna Have Your Babies.

And after a short engagement that was announced last year, Bedingfield - the sister of fellow UK chart-topper Daniel - wed her businessman partner in a short outdoor ceremony yesterday.

Reports suggest the wedding featured around 150 guests at the Church Estates Vineyards and saw the 27-year-old wearing a traditional white dress by American designer Vera Wang.

Bedingfield is not expected to take her new husband's name, although the pair are reported to be flying off for a short honeymoon straight away before the bride returns to the studio to continue work on her third album.

The theme of the singer's first two LP releases - Unwritten and NB - both centred on her being either a strong single woman, or one looking for a man to settle down with.

It remains to be seen what her music will focus on as a newlywed.
