BECKHAM'S RUNWAY DELAY

Former SPICE GIRL VICTORIA BECKHAM's recent flight to London was delayed after a bird became stuck in the aircraft's engine.
Beckham was travelling from Los Angeles with sons Romeo and Cruz when the flight was halted before take off.
Fire crews were called to the runway to extinguish a fire in the engine.
An airline spokesman says no one was injured on the jumbo, adding "A bird flew into one of the plane's engines just as it started its take-off roll. The engine is being looked at."
