BECKHAM TAKES THE PLUNGE

Soccer ace DAVID BECKHAM is trying his hand at a new sport - bungee jumping.
The dad-of-three was recently touring New Zealand with his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates when he decided to take the plunge into Auckland Harbour Bridge - falling 134 feet (41 metres).
The grinning and whooping 33-year-old was hoisted back onto the bridge and immediately asked to make another leap with a longer elastic cord - so that he could be dunked head-first into the water.
