Soccer superstar DAVID BECKHAM made a lucky escape in Los Angeles on Friday (24Oct08) when he avoided getting a speeding ticket.
The Los Angeles Galaxy player was driving at high speed in his Porsche 911 when he was pulled over by a traffic cop in Hollywood.
But the officer simply gave Beckham a stern warning and let him off without a fine.
