BECK & CLAPTON TO FACE OFF

Guitar greats JEFF BECK and ERIC CLAPTON have announced plans to hit the stage together for an epic joint concert in London in February (10).
The O2 Arena show will mark the first time the two rock icons have appeared together in their native Britain.
Beck and Clapton shared the stage together for the first time ever at a show in Japan in February (09).
The duo had previously performed together during festival shows, but hadn’t actually shared the bill.
In a statement announcing the London show on St. Valentine's Day eve (13Feb10), Clapton says, "I’ve always considered Jeff Beck to be one of the finest guitar players around. He’s a friend, a great guy, and a truly gifted musician. We had such a fun time in Japan that it seemed natural to play together again."
