BEATTY TO RECEIVE CECIL B DEMILLE HONOUR

WARREN BEATTY is to be honoured with the 64th CECIL B DeMILLE Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood. The actor/director's latest accolade was announced by JAMES CAAN at a press conference this morning (15NOV06). It will be Beatty's sixth Globe. He has been nominated 12 times as an actor, director and screenwriter. The honour will be presented to Beatty on 15 January (07). All other nominations will be announced on 14 December (06).
