BEATTY SET TO PLAY NIXON?
Hollywood veteran WARREN BEATTY will revive his movie career by taking up the role of ex-US president Richard Nixon in an upcoming film.
Beatty, who last performed the comedy Town and Country in 2001, is reportedly interested in the lead role of a big screen adaptation of the Broadway production Frost/Nixon.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "Warren is very keen to do it."
The play is based on a series of interviews with Nixon conducted by English journalist Sir David Frost in 1977 following the shameful Watergate scandal that saw the Republican president resign.
