Hollywood's royal couple WARREN BEATTY and ANNETTE BENING have offered their support to ailing PAUL NEWMAN as he reportedly battles terminal lung cancer.
At the beginning of the week (beg09Jun08), the Los Angeles Times newspaper reported the movie veteran had been diagnosed with the killer disease, prompting Hollywood's top players to offer their thoughts and feelings about the actor.
And now Beatty has weighed in, stating, "I love Paul and I just cross my fingers that he can deal with this.
"There are great new medical developments that are coming up all the time. So we'll hold our breath."
His wife Bening adds, "He's given so much professionally as well as to charity. He's an incredible human being."
