BEACH BOY JARDINE CALLS FOR FLEET FOXES COLLABORATION

Cult folk-rockers FLEET FOXES are in talks to team up with BEACH BOYS legend AL JARDINE for a new album.
The Seattle, Washington group took the world by storm in 2008 with their acclaimed self-titled debut album, and Jardine was among the celebrity fans hailing the band as the next big thing.
He invited the group to visit him at his California recording studio - and now Jardine is hoping to secure the Fleet Foxes as guests on his upcoming album A Postcard From California.
He says, "They’re awesome. They kind of have the Beach Boys vibe, too - very beautiful harmonies."
And Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold is very fond of his new pal, telling Pitchfork.com, "He was amazing, a really sweet guy."
Jardine's new album will feature guest spots from former bandmate Brian Wilson and actor John Stamos.
Rolling Stone magazine reports the album will also feature A California Saga - a lost track the Beach Boys star recorded with Neil Young, David Crosby and Stephen Stills.
