BB'S DANIELLE TALKS TO POLICE OVER RACE ROW

Model Danielle Lloyd has met with police regarding the race row that engulfed Celebrity Big Brother.

The Liverpudlian's spokeswoman said Lloyd had arranged to talk to officers from Hertfordshire police at the headquarters of Schillings solicitors in London, together with her lawyer.

"We had a very positive meeting," the spokesman said. "It was very constructive and we were pleased to have met them. As we have said all along, Danielle will be fully cooperating with them."

Hertfordshire police said they could "confirm we will be interviewing some of the housemates", but added that there was no further information while the investigation was ongoing.

The news follows the now-infamous allegations of racism and bullying levelled at Lloyd along with fellow housemates Jo O'Meara and Jade Goody after they were seen taunting Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, the eventual series winner, in the house.

Lloyd, a former Miss Great Britain, has since said she regretted causing any offence, while Goody is reported to be in rehab following the fallout from the show.

All three housemates have seen their public image plummet, with Goody and Lloyd losing a series of lucrative contracts and O'Meara struggling to cope with the aftermath.

After an appearance on GMTV, when the beleaguered former S Club 7 star broke down in tears, she has now released a 900-word statement in a bid to alleviate public anger at her actions in the house.

Stressing that producers on the reality TV show had made things look worse through editing, the singer said she "felt like the rabbit in the headlights".

The 27-year-old says she has received death threats, adding she is "genuinely sorry" for any offence caused to Shetty or the public at large.
