BAT FOR LASHES' TOUR STRUGGLE

Bat For Lashes star Natasha Khan admits she is struggling to adapt to the ''lonely'' life of touring.

Bat For Lashes feels like a "performing bear".

The singer - real name Natasha Khan - admits that despite her love of performing, life on the road is beginning to take its toll.

She said: "Recently I have been feeling like a performing bear in a circus. You get on to your bunk in a tour bus for 12 hours until the next city where they bring you out and you put on your sparkles and perform.

"It can be like living in a parallel dimension where you don't get to see your friends or family and you never get to go home. It's very lonely."

Despite her unhappiness, Natasha insists she still loves getting up on stage.

She added: "You have to understand, I love performing. I love the whole communal aspect of singing for people and feeling that energy coming back."
