Jay Z's impromptu celebration with college players following a basketball game in New Jersey has cost his team $50,000 (£33,333).
The hip-hop star, who is a part-owner of the New Jersey Nets, attended a play-off between the Kentucky Wildcats and North Carolina at the Nets' home ground, the Prudential Center in Newark, last month (Mar11).
Reports subsequently emerged suggesting the 99 Problems hitmaker celebrated in a locker room with the Kentucky players after they won the game, despite National Basketball Association (Nba) rules forbidding team personnel from having contact with players who are not yet eligible to be recruited.
Officials began an investigation into the incident, and they've slapped Nets' chiefs with a $50,000 (£33,333) fine over the incident, according to Espn.
