BARROWMAN IN HIGH-SPEED CRASH

Actor JOHN BARROWMAN narrowly escaped death when he was involved in a high-speed car crash.
The Torchwood star was filming for British TV series Fifth Gear when he lost control of his super fast rally car.
Barrowman's vehicle plummeted down a verge and flipped four times before coming to rest at the bottom of a hill - narrowly missing a nearby lake.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and treated the 42 year old, removing glass from his eye before taking him to hospital.
Barrowman says, "I'm lucky to walk away unscathed. I got a ticking off from my mum afterwards."
