BARDEM GETS FAT ON FILM SET
Spanish actor JAVIER BARDEM has urged peers hoping to work with movie mogul MILOS FORMAN to fast before filming starts - because the legendary director loves to feast with his cast.
The Before Night Falls star admits he piled on the pounds while playing a monk in Forman's new film Goya's Ghosts - and he's glad he could hide his growing girth under robes.
He says, "If you work with Milos you have to put weight on for any role because you go to eat with him. There's, like, roasting pigs and stuff on the table - and then you put on weight.
"I started thin and I finished the movie very fat. Friends think I did it on purpose because I'm some kind of Robert De Niro (method actor), which is not true.
"It was good we wore robes because, after having lunch with Milos a few times, you get fat."
