Israeli-born supermodel Bar Refaeli, who recently split from Leonardo DiCaprio, has developed a new seduction technique to find a man.

The Israeli-born supermodel - who split from Leonardo DiCaprio last month - insists the key to attracting a guy is to not try too hard.

She said: "My plan is don't try too hard. When girls try to be sexy it's not sexy to me. I feel that a girl is the most sexy when she is confident with herself. So if I want to be sexy I try to show confidence.�

Bar believes men love to chase women and says girls should never actively pursue a guy.

She added: "The sexiest I ever felt was the first time I put on a dress and went dancing with my friends. The way to impress a cute guy in a bar is to ignore him!"

Bar and Leonardo - who had dated on and off since 2005 - split in June amid reports the 'Revolutionary Road' actor wasn't ready to settle down.

A source said at the time: "They're taking time off for the time being, they've split. For now they're doing their own thing.

"She wanted to move faster than he did, she wanted to move in together, so he broke it off."

Leonardo and Bar briefly split late last year, before rekindling their romance in December.
