BANNER GETS ANIMATED FOR NEW CARTOON PROJECT
Rapper DAVID BANNER has created an adult animation series for the Cartoon Network based on his beloved Mississippi.
The Crook'd Sipp, which features Banner as restaurant owner Virgil, follows the fortunes of a white family stuck in the 1800s, while living in present day Mississippi.
He says, "It's about race relations but it's fun.
"There's a lot of things that need to be talked about in our community. When you're dealing with a lot of young black males, they're angry, and if you can make people laugh and still get your point across, it's more effective that way."
