TYRA BANKS vowed to slim down earlier this year (09) - in a bid to beat fellow dieters on AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL.
The TV talk show host has piled on the pounds in recent years, and her new figure was a far cry from her days on the catwalk.
Banks was determined to regain her enviable curves and enlisted the help of pals on the set of her beauty contest to stick to a healthier regime.
And it worked - Banks is happy with her newfound figure.
She tells Larry King, "I did this challenge with my friends. There was about eight of us from America's Next Top Model, some past talk show people and some friends. And we were sitting around a table and kind of trash talking and decided to do this challenge because we all love food. I trash talked so much where I had to win - and I did. I always feel great when I don't have clothes on."
