BANDERAS REFUSES TO GIVE GRIFFITH FILM ROLE

ANTONIO BANDERAS is in trouble with his wife MELANIE GRIFFITH for not giving her a role in his new movie. The Spanish actor is directing romantic drama SUMMER RAIN, but didn't believe Griffith was suitable for any of the film's characters. He says, "I would like to work with my wife again, but there was no character for her in this movie. "This annoyed her but I will find something. I will make it up to her." Banderas met Griffith in 1995 on the set of romantic comedy TWO MUCH. They were married the following year (96).
