BALLAS INJURED ON DANCING TOUR

Entertainer MARK BALLAS has been forced to temporarily pull out of the American tour of hit U.S. reality show DANCING WITH THE STARS after suffering a groin injury.
The professional dancer, who was crowned the show's season six winner alongside Olympic gold medallist Kristi Yamaguchi, was injured during a show at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Saturday night (27Dec08), according to People.com.
Ballas grimaced with pain before apologising to the crowd, telling worried fans he would have to sit the tour out for "a couple of weeks".
However, he thrilled revellers by dancing through the pain, giving a high-energy performance with Yamaguchi and fellow professional dancers Lacey Schwimmer and Derek Hough.
The tour is slated to end on 8 February (09) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ballas is expected to return to the show's eight season, which is scheduled to air on American TV in March (09).
