BALDWIN THEFT HEARING POSTPONED

LATEST: Actor DANIEL BALDWIN's arraignment hearing on grand theft auto felony charges was postponed yesterday (13FEB07), despite the fact he has missed previous court dates. Baldwin is already named in a $25,000 (GBP12,800) arrest warrant for failing to show up at a hearing in the same case earlier this month (FEB07), but Assistant District Attorney DENNIS CONWAY agreed to a request from his attorney that the court appearance be delayed. The 46-year-old star has been free on bail since he was arrested in Santa Monica, California in November (06), while driving a sports utility vehicle (SUV) that had been reported stolen in Orange County. He could face up to three years in prison if convicted. Baldwin maintains he's innocent of all charges against him. His manager, DAN SPILO, insists the arrest warrant was an error, adding the court will correct this in due course.
