BALDWIN IS 'KILLED OFF' TALK SHOW BY SOPRANOS HITMAN
SOPRANOS star TONY SIRICO reprised his role as a mafia hitman on Thursday (12Feb09) night - to help ALEC BALDWIN become the first celebrity to be "killed off" a TV talk show.
Baldwin was the star guest on U.S. show Late Night with Conan O'Brien - one of the final episodes before the host moves to Los Angeles to take over Jay Leno's Tonight Show later this month (20Feb09).
The actor has been a regular on O'Brien's show and asked if he could be "killed off" the programme and make TV history.
Baldwin said, "I've been a character on your show. I feel that the only way to go on these kind of shows, is to be killed off.
And I would like to be the first person to be killed off a talk show."
O'Brien obliged and invited Sirico, in character as his Sopranos hitman Paulie 'Walnuts' Gualtieri, onstage to pretend to strangle the star.
