BAFTA NOMINATIONS FOR GOLDEN GLOBE WINNER WINSLET
The 33-year-old is nominated twice in the best actress category, for her performances in Revolutionary Road and The Reader.
The British actress received the same honour for her performance in Revolutionary Road at Sunday's Golden Globe awards, also being named best supporting actress for The Reader.
Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, the big winner at the Golden Globes and now a firm Oscar favourite, is the joint most nominated film for this year's Baftas with 11 nods.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is also nominated 11 times, with director David Fincher, lead actor Brad Pitt and screenwriter Eric Roth all recognised.
