British singer/songwriter BADLY DRAWN BOY wishes more people would turn their televisions off completely to cut back on carbon emissions. The environmentally-conscious SILENT SIGH star - real name DAMON GOUGH - believes climate change can be temporarily averted with small lifestyle changes. He says, "I'm currently obsessed with turning my TV off properly instead of putting it on stand-by. "Apparently if a billion people did that one action for a year, it would reduce carbon emissions by a billion tonnes. Or something. Still, you have to try. "Everyone's got a different theory, but at the minute the UK's either going to be scorched to smithereens or buried under ice. It's gonna go one way or the other."
