BACKSTREET BOYS STILL ON AS A FOURSOME
LATEST: THE BACKSTREET BOYS' comeback will continue unfazed by KEVIN RICHARDSON's departure, bandmember BRIAN LITTRELL insists. Richardson pulled out of the band's forthcoming album plans claiming he wants to move on with his life - leaving the Backstreet Boys as a foursome. But Littrell insists there is no bad feeling and the band are still planning to release their comeback album later in 2006. He tells MTV News, "(Kevin Richardson) is the oldest member of the group and he's just at a different place in his life. There is no bad blood whatsoever. "We're in the process of trying to put this record together for a fourth-quarter release, so we're excited about it." But he confesses he will miss Richardson, who is also his cousin, adding, "Personally, Kevin is my blood. Kevin got me in the group almost 14 years ago. I'm a little sad to see him leave, and I'm sure some of the fans are a little sad. But I'm very happy for him and very supportive of him personally and businesswise and I hope he's successful in any endeavour that he plans on moving forward with his life."
