BACHCHAN MAKES TV COMEBACK

Indian film star AMITABH BACHCHAN is planning a TV comeback in a soap opera. The actor - who hosted India's version of TV quiz show Who Wants To Be a Millionaire - hopes to make a return to the small screen and is currently in discussions with several TV producers about forthcoming projects. He says, "I plan to take up one or maybe even more of these offers very shortly." Bachchan saw his film career plummet in the late-1990s and has not appeared on TV since hosting the popular gameshow.
