BABYSHAMBLES DRUMMER TO RELEASE CHRISTMAS SONG

BABYSHAMBLES drummer ADAM FICEK has announced he is getting into the festive spirit and releasing a Christmas single.

The musician, who recently released a solo album as ROSES, KINGS, CASTLES, is making a bid for the Christmas chart with HORSES, which comes complete with sleigh-bell sound effects.

It will be available for download on December 8th and will be released as a seven-inch vinyl single on December 15th.

The single will also contain two B-sides, PULLING ME ROUND and EVERYBODY LOVES.

Commenting on the track, Ficek told Gigwise.com: "It's about the many wintry things I dream about in the months running up to Christmas.

"Throw in some characters from my past, present and future and you're left with Horses, a tale of Jack Frostical proportions."

Meanwhile, Ficek recently teamed with his BABYSHAMBLES bandmates PETE DOHERTY and MICK WHITNALL to play a gig in an east London flat.

He also performed sols songs throughout the show, reports NME magazine.
