BABYSHAMBLES CANCEL FRENCH GIG

British rockers BABYSHAMBLES have cancelled a gig in France - after frontman PETE DOHERTY reportedly decided he was too tired to perform.
The group was due to play at the Allez Les Jeunes Festival in Rouen, France on Thursday (02Apr09), but scrapped the appearance at the last minute.
Drummer Adam Ficek announced the cancellation via social networking site Twitter.com, admitting he didn't hear the gig had been scrapped until he was on his way to the event.
He writes, "Awoke. Feeling shattered. Get in Cab. Get a message. Today's Babyshambles festival is off. Peter tired. I go Back to bed. Gutted! Sorry.
"Feeling disappointed, should be in France playing to loads of Babyshambles fans."
Babyshambles are scheduled to play the Garorock 2009 festival in Marmande , France on Friday (03Apr09)..
