BABYFACE'S SYMPATHY FOR EX-WIFE AND MURPHY

R+B singer/producer KENNETH 'BABYFACE' EDMONDS sympathises with his ex-wife TRACEY and her fiance EDDIE MURPHY for the media circus surrounding their relationship. Film producer Tracey and Murphy admitted they had been dating "for a month and a half" last December (06) - the same month the actor's then-pregnant ex-girlfriend Melanie Brown believed her relationship with Murphy had ended. Despite becoming engaged in July (07), Tracey and Murphy have received more media attention over the actor's paternity battle with Brown, who gave birth to daughter Angel Iris in April (07). Edmonds says, "I feel for Tracey and Eddie because of what they gotta go through. Everybody's on them and now (that they're engaged) they're going to be on them even more. And I wouldn't want that. "That's like a little too much for me with people all in your business with their opinions of you and what your life choices are. I am kinda happy being a B-list star. That's OK to me. I like being a musician and a writer. I'm OK with that. I don't need to be the hottest guy or being looked at as anything other than with respect."
