AUNT ROSEMARY TAUGHT CLOONEY FAME PITFALLS
GEORGE CLOONEY credits his late singer aunt ROSEMARY CLOONEY with teaching him how to handle fame. The OCEAN'S ELEVEN actor observed how Rosemary, who wed Hollywood star JOSE FERRER twice, coped with constant press attention following her breakthrough as America's most popular singer in the 1950s. Clooney says, "She wouldn't tell you, 'Don't do it,' but you could see it, you could read it on her body. "You know? Don't smoke three packs a day. Do a little exercising along the way. And don't believe anybody when they tell you how great you are when you're 21. And don't believe everybody when they tell you how lousy you are when you're 27."
