AUDIGIER PLANS TO TURN JACKSON'S DEATH SITE INTO ED HARDY HEADQUARTERS
Designer CHRISTIAN AUDIGIER is to turn the Holmby Hills, Los Angeles home he rented to MICHAEL JACKSON into his company's headquarters.
The French fashion guru behind the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier clothing lines was his friend's landlord during the final months of his life.
Jackson reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at the Audigier mansion on Thursday (25Jun09) and died hours later.
And, rather than rent out the seven-bedroom home again, the designer, who leases the estate from Ed Hardy CEO Hubert Guez, plans to relocate his headquarters there in December (09), according to TMZ.com.
Reports suggest the promoters behind Jackson's planned U.K. comeback shows agreed to pay the $100,000 (£66,000)-a-month rent on Audigier's mansion, so Jackson had a place to stay while he was rehearsing for the This Is It concerts in London.
